The technicians determined that the damage was cause by piston seizure.
This is caused by improper use. (mixture too lean, not enough oil in the fuel, etc…) They originally just replaced the top end. (cylinder, piston, gaskets,
etc…)
They only charged you (at a discount) for the cylinder, prop drive washer and new spark plug.
On the test run, the techs discovered that the engine bearings were loose.
Those were replaced at no charge.
Basically, your engine is now like brand new.

Да теперь уже и не вспомню…Скорее всего сочетание жары и бедной смеси, чем недостаток масла в топливе.
Этот мотор изначально не особо мне нравился. А вот второй, что постарше - золото, за ручкой ходит как электричка.
