amicalement, Vincent
Hi everyone, Hi Nikolay:)
Congratulation, very beautiful building:)
For me the best for the first flight is at the slope with bungee for the take off, it’s very very secure, it’s like this I prefere the maiden. My bungee come from emc-vega, I have this one www.emc-vega.de/de/…/MR-Scale-7-35-m and no problem for glider until 10kg. Maybe you have already seen video on my website, for exemple www.retroplane.net/videos/Nitra3_1er_Vol.wmv and retroplane.net/…/Decollages_au_sandow_Wasserkuppe.…
best regards from France, Vincent;)
Thanks for welcome:)
I love all old gliders from Russia, they have so much original shape but the big difficulty for us is to find documents and browse on russian website because alphabet is not the same and the research are very difficult:(
Hi Everyone
My name is Vincent, from France, soon 50 years but always 20 in spirit.
I am the webmaster of Retroplane.net.
In first, congratulation Nikolay for this project of AVF10 😃 I love these very old and originals gliders
I have seen this thread and I would like to give you some details about covering Diacov
The firm Diatex is in France, they make fabric for aeronautic >> www.diatex.com/-Aeronautical-fabrics-.html
On this link >> www.modelpascher.com/catalog/product_info.php?prod… it’s not Diacov, the title is wrong, it’s Diatex1000 (49g/m²) and you need to glue it with Dope, like silk, paper japon…
So not interesting to buy in this shop, you can find equivalent products like, Ceconite, Polyfiber, Koverall, all these fabric need dope to glue them
Diacov is a especially product for aeromodel, the fabric is Diatex1000+layer of glue (95g/m²)
So Diacov has a layer of thermo glue and we can apply it with iron like Solartex, Oratex… but Diacov is more strong than solartex/oratex
You can find Diacov here >> www.weymuller.fr/article/diacov_10m.html but I don’t know if they ship international?..
You can look a video of covering with Diacov on my last building (Nitra3 www.retroplane.net/nitra3/page6.htm )
the video >> retroplane.net/…/Nitra3_Entoilage_Lardage.wmv
I follow this thread with interest
best regards, Vincent
