Всем привет.
Отчет по обновлению прошивки

Аппаратура JR XG11MV.
Перепрошился с 0011 до 0013. Все прошло штатно.
Инструкции см., например, сообщение #37 этой темы.

SD card: Kingston SDHC 4GB, Class 4.
Фото флешки ниже, брал в Юлмарте где-то год назад.

Может кому будет интересно.
Касательно моего вопроса по индикации при зарядке (посты #281, #283).
Пришел ответ от jramericas, цитирую:
The answer that I received back was that the manual is INCORRECT; the light on the module does NOT illuminate when the radio is charging.
Итог - очередная ошибка в инструкции, предположения VladislavVY были верными.

Владельцы JR XG11 MV (DMSS module), нужна помощь. Вопрос по зарядке.

При зарядке штатной зарядкой штатной батареи у меня нет никакой индикации на передатчике.
В инструкции сказано, что при зарядке должна быть индикация на задней стороне передатчика и, мол, если ее нет, обратитесь к дистрибьютору.

Цитирую текст из инструкциии к JR XG11 MV:​
If the LED on the back side of the transmitter does not illuminate, an error may have occurred. In this situation,
detach the AC adapter plug, and re-insert it. If the back side LED does not light even after the cable has been
removed and inserted several times, please contact your JR agent or distributor in your country.

При этом есть индикация зарядки на штатном зарядном устройстве (Charger NEC-J17C). При зарядке на штатном зарядном устройстве горит зеленый индикатор, после зарядки примерно до 10.1В индикация и напряжение на выходе на нем пропадает. Вроде как все нормально, но, строго говоря, не соответствует инструкции.

Подскажите, есть ли у вас индикация процесса зарядки на передатчике (на модуле или на самой аппаратуре)?
Или, как сказал выше уважаемый VladislavVY это очередная ошибка в инструкции?

2012-05-10: We have tested successfully update the firmware of XG8 with a SDHC-class4 4GB card. Please DO NOT use a larger of high speed SD card, it may cause problem during the update process and “brick” your radio.

Действительно, странный ответ от jramericas.
Ответ на письмо (пост #264) я получил от support@jramericas.com от некого Района Смита (Ryan Smith). Вот его почта: ryansmith@jramericas.com, он отвечает быстро, может кому пригодится, хотя после комментария Владимира (по тестам XG8 с сайта rc711) осталась неопределенность и ответ по скоростным характеристикам карт памяти вызывает сомнения.
Напишу jramericas по замечанию относительно тестов rc711.

Сколько я не искал, я не смог найти прямого контакта с официальным JR. Как я понимаю, - это такая политика JR общаться с конечными пользователями через региональных дистрибьюторов.

Если кто знает, подскажите email официальной техподдержки JR.

Hi Andrey!

The lack of response is my fault, I am responsible for that account as well. Our technical advisor has not returned to the office from his trip to Germany, and has not had access to getting me the information you require. Because the XG11MV has not been released in the United States yet, we do not have the manual in PDF for our records. I have requested this, and thought that perhaps there would be a short turnaround time, which as you can see, there has not been. I forgot to reply to you to let you know of the delay, so please accept my apologies. I will send a reminder email and we can try to get you taken care of.

In the meantime, I’m attaching link for the manual for the native 2.4 version of the XG11. The only information that you will lack is regarding the module, but this is a very small portion of information relative to the other information contained in the manual. Be advised, the file is very large at over 50MB, therefore easier to open from the site than to send via email.

Because the radio also is new, it does not have any software updates that I am aware of. These will be very similar to the XG11 updates, so when the next update goes out, the page will be created. We are working on our website to make this information available more readily than having to use the Japanese website.

The problem with the software updates for radios is that they require an SD card with fast write speed. This feature is only generally found in higher capacity SD cards, meaning generally 2GB and larger. The files are small, but the transmitter’s processor requires information at a very fast rate so that it doesn’t have a read/write error. This is the biggest factor.

Secondly, the files must be formatted exactly as the instructions state. There must be a file on the SD card titled VERUP, and only one software update may be in this at a time. Once the software update is installed on the transmitter, it’s a good idea to erase the file from that folder. The same SD card can be used for model memory storage, simply title that folder MODELS.

Again, the biggest problem is the write speed of the SD card. I’ve experienced this myself and it is frustrating. I was in a rush to update an 11X (US version, DSM modulation) to update to the programming features of the XG11 and bricked the radio because of a slow SD card. JR make an SD card, and the link to it is below. You can source this from your favorite JR shop.

It is not a regular question, because many very experienced pilots in our community have a problems after XG11 update. They exactly follows manufactures instructions and after update they have not working device.
It is not good for such name as JR…
Please let us know about solution for this problem…

Я бы не рискнул ставить в передатчик батарею с таким напряжением, прекрасно влезает Гиперионовская 2100 мАh, 6,6 V

На XG11MV батарея отличается от батареи на XG11. На XG11MV напряжение 9.6V, на XG11 6.6V.
Думаю, что на гиперионе 6.6V передатчик просто не включится.

Кстати, на rc711 по XG11MV мануал от 11XG, описание также частично неверное.

В “поиске” пишем 3F2100 Li-Fe, далее, в таблице идем в нижнюю строку 04159. Выйдем на батарею.

На моей батарее (как и на сайте JR) указано именно 9.6V. Отсюда и вопрос, модно ли воткнуть батарею с хоббикинга?

На XG11MV штатная батарея 3F2100 9.6V, разъем отличается от разъема на XG11/XG8.
