It’s such a beautiful aircraft!

А у тебя вектора работают и на тонгаж и на крен ?
I use Thrust Vector all the flight, I leave it always “on”.
It’s working in three axis, pitch, roll and yaw but I have gyros only on yaw and roll.
After playing a bit with the plane, I found out you really can make little corrections with ailerons without problem but it is crucial to dominate yaw and throttle management to control high alpha. 😉

А без гироскопов летал на таких углах атаки? Если да, то какая чувствуется разница? Возможно ли приспособить гироскопы Futaba-401?
I haven’t tried it without gyros. They smooth the reaction but they don’t replace the pilot, because these are GWS PG-03 simple gyros without sensitivity channel and gain can only be set manually. If you set too much gain the plane gets unstable at high speeds so it has limited effectiveness at low speeds. In any case I have them only on TV so I only benefit from them when I give power.
I want to try GY-401, I will post results if I finally end doing so 😉

Вчера на нашей ВПП в Монино освоил для себя новый тип самолета - ваш любимый Су-35. 😃
Благодаря самозабвенной преданности Димы нашему общему делу, я смог на его самолете полетать по своим очкам Dominator по FPV.
Так как передатчик был только один на двоих, то летали по очереди: я на Су-35 а Дима на L-39. Ну и в ожидании своего вылета выполняли роль РП друг для друга.
Таким образом Димкин самолет наконец-то был облетан в режиме FPV от взлета и до посадки.
Летных происшествий с бортом не было, за исключением моей первой посадки - у самолета сломался поворотный кулак и ось кулачка ретракта. Это произошло из-за козления, которое стало следствием моей ошибки с углом тангажа на посадке.
Самолет оказался очень летучим и требовал более пологой глиссады, чем я привык к тому, что требуется для L-39…
Тем не менее, через 10 минут самолет снова был в строю и летал: у Димы оказались с собой запасные комплекты основных стоек. 😃
Из-за плохой погоды в первой половине дня (постоянно накрапывал дождик) и трех АКБ на два самолета, мне удалось сделать всего три вылета на данном борту.
Но тем не менее, все вылеты были 100% FPVшными.

Yesterday on our runway in Monino has mastered a new type of aircraft - your favorite Su-35 plane.
Thanks to the selfless devotion to our common cause of Dima, I was able to fly his plane on my video glasses “Dominator” by FPV-mode.
Since the transmitter was the only one to two planes, then fly in turn: I’m on the Su-35 and Dima on L-39. Well, in anticipation of his departure played the role of RP (ground Commander) for each other.
Thus Dima plane finally was flight tested in the mode of FPV from take-off to landing.
Air accidents with the board was not, except for my first landing - the plane broke the knuckle and the cam axle retract. This was due to “hop-and-pop”, which was due to my mistake with the pitch angle on the landing. The plane was very volatile and require less steep glide path than I’m used to that required for the L-39 …
However, after 10 minutes the plane was back in service and flew: Dima have up with a spare sets of main landing gear.
Bad weather in the first half of the day (it was drizzling rain constantly) and 3 LiPo batteries of two aircraft, I was able to do all 3 flyhgt of departure for this Su-35 aircraft.
Nevertheless, all the flights were 100% FPV-mode.

Инверт с первого раза не получился так как самолет очень “нервный” - ОВТ и лопаты ГО свое черное дело делают четко. 😃
Полетал сегодня в тушино. Всеже хороша птичка 😃 Вот только хвост где то у меня отстыковался (был сделан на магнитах) и пропал с концами 😦
