Я как-то с молоком матери впитал, что синтетика горит при меньших температурах, нежели касторка.

Note: We do not recommend using fuels that contain only synthetic
lubricants. Synthetic lubricants have a much lower flash point than Castor
Oil lubricants. Flash point is the point at which the lubricant begins to
actually burn and loses it’s lubricating qualities. Using fuels containing a
blend of Castor Oil and synthetic lubricants results in an engine that runs
cooler and lasts longer. One lean run using a fuel containing only synthetic
lubricants can cause engine failure. Using fuels with a Castor Oil
and synthetic blend of lubricants greatly reduces this chance.

20 лет назад я был знаком с 15-летней девчушкой, которая прекрасно говорила на 5 языках, но она не хвасталась этим. Просто продавала ракушки и кораллы на пляже во Вьетнаме. Но не все с молоком матери впитали умение свободно читать пусть даже на “интернациональном”, но все же чуждом нам языке.
Вы точно уверены, что помогли топикстартеру этой “выдержкой”?
Кстати, разные производители дают прямо диаметральные рекомендации. ОС рекомендует касторку, Ямада осторожно допускает ее применение, а саито почему-то не хочет, чтобы их моторы ею “кормили”.

Несмотря на посредственное владение английским, я все понял без словаря.
Тем более в мануале по Саите, пусть не жирным шрифтом, но написано:
“Since the four-stroke engine has high exhaust temperature and carbon is apt to accumulate when castor oil type lubricants are used, avoid using fuel containing them.”
Если дословно: Остерегайтесь использовать топливо, содержащее касторовое масло.
Евгений, я на 16 процентном необкатывал.
У меня был самозамес 20% масла. С тех пор отлетал
два галона, вроде как все нормально. Все прекратилось как поставил движок цилиндром горизонтально, а обкатывал вертикально. А сервис горизонта сказал, что 20% масла это очень много. Нужно 16 -17% и никакой касторки.
Этот прицидент был только на саите 40. С 82й все хокей.
